Afromedia Seeks Extension for Filing Audited Financial Statement

Afromedia PLC (“the Company”) hereby notifies its shareholders, capital market participants, and The Nigerian Stock Exchange (“The NSE”) that the Company will regrettably be unable to meet the statutory deadline for filing its Audited Financial Statement (AFS) for the year ended 30 September 2018 (2018 AFS) within the due date of 31 December 2018 as prescribed by The Exchange’s Rules on Filing of Accounts and Treatment of Default Filing (“Default Filing Rules”). 

The Company will not be able to file its 2018 AFS as a result of delay in completing the audits for the 2016 and 2017 financial years, and has impacted on the audit for the 2018 financial year. 

Please be assured that the Company will file its 2018 AFS well enough in time to convene its AGM on or before 31 March 2019. We sincerely regret the delay and inconvenience this might have caused our shareholders and the investing public.
