Tingo Mobile Set to List on NSE, London Stock Exchange

Tingo Mobile PLC, a Mobile Device Company founded in 2001 has over the last three years produced and sold over 9million android devices to Nigerian farmers, women cooperatives and mobile money agents across east Africa.

The company has concluded plans to list agents across east Africa by Introduction on the Nigerian and London Stock Exchange (Standard Exchange and subsequently listing on the Listing of the Main Board). Stock brokers and Advisors have been appointed for the listings.

According to Mr. Dozy, “Tingo Mobile will be the first African Technology company to be listed on 3 Stock Exchanges”. The founder of Tingo, Mr Dozy speaking about Tingo on the Rwanda Stock Exchange said, “We are entering new markets with new products and services, we will be introducing smart and contactless metering devices for power distribution companies across Africa, smart TVs and Nano Batteries within the next 24 months, making most of our products available to the general public for the first time.”

Speaking in details about Tingo Mobile Plc, Mr. Dozy explained that the technology company operates in Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, Ghana and operates a Joint Venture in India where its Nano Batteries and Mobile operating System (OS) are set for release.

He also mentioned that one of Tingo Mobile Plc’s products is the Tingo Messenger App which is the first of its kind in Africa. According to him, the messenger App is wholly African and its main focus is making it a one stop application where you can perform different functions from, Chatting to Online purchase, in a secure, easy to use platform, and at no extra cost.
