NSE Sustains Positive Momentum; FGN Bond Yields Rise at OTC

The equities market advanced mostly on the back of industrial stocks as evident by the rise in the NSE Industrial Index which advanced by 2.48 percent. Consequently, key market indicators, the NSE ASI and market capitalisation, each advanced by 1.41 percent.

Gainers & Losers

Shares of building materials manufacturer, Dangote Cement, revved five (5) percent to close at N141.75 apiece. Likewise, Seplat Petroleum advanced by 2.65 percent to N349 apiece while shares of Mobil Nigeria rose by 4.65 percent to N156.97 each. On the flipside, Zenith Bank unravelled by 2.47 percent to close at N11.07 per share, while Dangote Sugar tanked by 4.91 percent to close at N5.23 per share.
