MAYBAKER Says H1 2016 Pretax Profit up 2.32%

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Drugmaker, May & Baker Nigeria Plc said its first-half (H1) pretax profit for the period ended June 30, 2016 climbed up marginally 2.32 percent to N44.2 billion from N43.7 billion a year earlier.

Similarly post-tax profit rose slightly 3.44 percent to N30.08 billion from N29.73 billion posted the corresponding period of 2015.

In the same vein, revenue of MAYBAKER increased marginally from N3.41 billion in the H1 of 2015 to N3.70 billion in the review period of 2016; indicating an increase of 8.5 percent, the drugmaker said on Thursday in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
