JAPAULOIL Reports N13.21 Billion Loss in 2017 FYE

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Japaul Oil & Maritime Services Plc on Thursday reported a loss of N13.21 billion for the period ended December 31, 2017 compared to N22.01  billion posted a year ago.

Pretax profit of the company moved from a negative of N21.34 billion in 2016 end to N13.08 billion in the review period of 2017.

Revenue of Japaul Oil also declined 38.26 percent to N1.90 billion from N3.07 billion declared the same period of 2016, the company said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

Shares of the Japaul Oil at the close of Thursday’s trading on the domestic bourse dipped 7.02 percent to 53 kobo from 57 kobo traded the previous session; losing 4 kobo per share.
