“With the Mobile App, shareholders and investors from the comfort of their Smartphones now have instant and unlimited access to their shareholdings and other related information about their shares, dividends, bank mandates etc under the purview of First Registrars,’ he said.
According to the CEO of First Registrars, in the company’s bid to enhance shareholders and investors’ experience, First Registrars committed a significant investment in the development of the Mobile App which now brings the register of members to the fingertips of the shareholders/investors. ” Unlike in those days, for everything you have to do with the Registrar, you have to visit our office either in Lagos or other places, we have moved away from that and we want to move further to delight our shareholders,” he added.
Shareholders can access their share transactions, dividends information, bank mandates, address confirmation and even pre-register for Annual General Meetings/ Extraordinary General Meetings (AGMs/EGMs) and lots more.
“Shareholders instead of coming to AGM venues to queue for registration can register at the comfort of their homes, all they need to do is to print the slip and show at the venue of the AGM. This will reduce the number of hours spent on accreditation of shareholders on AGM days. At First Registrars, we are very excited about the convenience and ease that this product will bring to our shareholders and investors because of the comfort and exceeding the expectation of our shareholders and investors alike, which form the bedrock of our existence,” Olugbemi affirmed.
According to him, for the elderly in the village and remote areas who cannot operate with smartphones, First Registrars has a product called M Access which subscribers pay N1000 per annum, regardless of the number of companies the investors has bought shares.
M-Access gives you unlimited access to your share accounts with First Registrars via your mobile phone. M-Access is also known as Mobile Phone Share Account Enquiry and Account on the Move and is the mobile phone version of First Registrars Online-Access package.
