Access Bank Says H1 2019 Post-Tax Profit Up 59.1% to N63.03 Billion, Offers 25 Kobo Interim Dividend

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Nigeria’s tier one (1) lender, Access Bank Plc said on Friday its post-tax profit for the period ended June 30, 2019 surged 59.1 percent to N63.03 billion from N39.62 billion recorded a year ago.

In the same vein, pretax profit increased 61.7 percent to N74.12 billion from N45.84 declared the same period 2018.

Gross earnings of Access Bank increased from N186.68 billion in 2018 Half Year to N272.89 billion in the review period of 2019, showing an increase of 46.2 percent, the lender in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

Access Bank proposed a final dividend 0.25 kobo per share to its investors, qualification and closure date has been scheduled for September 23 and September 24, 2019, while payment date is scheduled for October 3, 2019.
