Apex Group Ltd. (“Apex Group” or “The Group”), a global financial services provider, today announces the appointment of Jon Hugill the role of Global Head of Open-End Product and Member of the Executive Committee, to support and drive the business’ sustained growth.

In this new global role, Jon will be responsible for overseeing the enhancement, growth and delivery of Apex Group’s single-source solution to open-ended fund clients. Globally, Apex Group offers the broadest range of fund and administration solutions to USD$800bn of open-ended funds.

Jon joined Apex Group following the acquisition of Maitland Group in early 2023. He spent over 15 years at Maitland, most recently as Managing Director of Fund Services, based in Cape Town. Previously Jon served on the Maitland International Holdings Board and held various roles including operations, technology and projects. Prior to joining Maitland Jon worked for eight years in London. Jon holds an MBA from Stellenbosch University.
